The photographs taken at Le Repère, in Guadeloupe, are the work of Carla Segues (@carlasegues).

Any reproduction or reuse, even partial, of the texts or images requires prior written permission: mine, and the photographer’s for the images that are not my own.

Your personal data

I ask for as little information as possible, and only what I need to prepare your table or your project.

What you share with me

When you write to me, through the enquiry form or by message, you send me what I need to prepare your table or your project, for example:

  • your name and a way to reply to you (email or phone)
  • the occasion, date, place and number of guests
  • your wishes, and any allergies or diets to respect
  • for a professional enquiry, the name and town of your venue, your situation and what you need
  • any message you choose to add

If you use WhatsApp or Instagram, your messages also go through those services, which apply their own privacy rules.

What it is used for

Only to reply to you, suggest a menu and prepare the service. An allergy or diet you mention is used only to adapt what I cook.

I do not sell, rent or pass on your information to anyone, and I do not use it for advertising.

How long I keep it

For as long as our exchange and the service last. After that, I delete it as soon as it is no longer needed, apart from what the law requires me to keep for invoicing.

Who can see it

No one but me reads it. To run the site, two technical providers process it on my behalf, without being allowed to use it for anything else: the site’s host, and the service that delivers form messages to my inbox (Resend).

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards set out in the GDPR.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to its use or receive a copy of it. Just write to me:

If you feel your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr

Audience measurement

To see which pages are read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not try to find out who you are: it counts visits in aggregate (pages viewed, country, device and browser type, referring site).

How the tool works, on the Cloudflare website

No tracking cookies, so no banner

This site sets no audience measurement or advertising cookies. That is why no pop-up asks for your consent when you arrive.

When you follow a link to Instagram, you leave this site, and Instagram applies its own rules.
